PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practicable solar sail with a means for controlling a posture of a solar sail. SOLUTION: Curvature is generated on a solar sail main membrane using a piezoelectric film, so that a first portion inclined in a positive direction and a second portion inclined in a negative portion are formed, so as to make reflectance of the first portion higher than that of the second portion. Lights are introduced to the solar sail main membrane, and voltage applied to the piezoelectric film is controlled, so that a resultant force of a driving force generated by the first portion and a driving force generated by the second portion is controlled to obtain a driving force for controlling the posture of the solar sail.
