PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical body cutting device which safely, surely and quickly performs a cutting work of a cylindrical body in a narrow space such as a substation or a utility tunnel. SOLUTION: This device is provided with: a belt 12 having a slit along the longitudinal direction at a center part and wound on a circumference of the cylindrical body to be cut; an injection nozzle 14 connected with a hose for supplying high pressure water to inject high pressure water to the cylindrical body; a moving main body 15 provided with each of chain receiving wheels 27a and 27b disposed on an upper part of a stand main body, guide wheels 29a and 29b disposed on a lower part of the stand main body to rotate on the belt 12, a nozzle holding part for holding the injection nozzle 14, and a motor for rotating and driving the guide wheels 29a and 29b; and a chain 16 laid over the chain receiving wheels 27a and 27b of the moving main body 15 and wound on the circumference of the cylindrical body. The injection nozzle 14 is mounted on a nozzle holding part 30 so that the injection port may be faced with the slit and inclined to a peripheral surface of the cylindrical body.
