PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably bring up/down a cutter with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: One of links 22 and 24 is rotatably and pivotably supported by a cover 20, and one side of a link 42 is rotatably and pivotably supported by the other of the links 22 and 24. The other side of the link 42 is supported by the cover 20 in an elevating/lowering manner, and a center of a cutter 30 is rotatably and pivotably supported by the link 42. One side of an engagement shaft 46 is fixed to the other side of the links 22 and 24 at a right angle, and the other side of the engagement shaft 46 is protruded at the position to be engaged with abutting members 16 and 18 located on both ends of a moving path of a recording head. A guide hole 48 to guide an arc-shaped motion of the engagement shaft 46 is provided in the cover 20. Guide surfaces 48a and 48b to lock the engagement shaft 46 at the pushing position when the engagement shaft 46 is abutted on the abutting members 16 and 18 and pushed thereby, are formed in the guide hole 48.
