PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig installing method which realizes high-rotation deflection accuracy at a jig distal end, and easily removes a jig. SOLUTION: In a method of installing a jig such as a chuck at an end portion of an output shaft 1 of a motor, the material of the output shaft 1 and the material of the jig 2 is made to have different linear expansion coefficients, and an end of the output shaft 1 and the jig 2 are united by shrinkage fitting. A shrinkage fitting margin is made to have size capable of ensuring surface pressure required for keeping motor torque in regard to temperature rise at the time of motor operation, and removing the jig 2 by heating an outer periphery of the shrinkage fitting united portion.
