The invention relates to pharmaceutical preparations for oral administration, said preparations containing at least one active ingredient which is bound to an ion exchanger. The inventive preparations also contain an intrinsically viscous gelling agent as a thickening agent in order to improve their physical stability and acceptance, especially by animals.
