A lock member (1) with a latch (2/1) is supported along a pull rope on a slideway. The rope is connected to a slide carrying a load. The inherent stress of the lock member enables it to engage into an engagement in the slideway, in case the pull rope snaps apart. The lock member is spaced from the engagement during normal operation of the pull rope and slide. An independent claim is also included for the movable systems especially lifting devices or forklift having one security element.
