METERING APPARATUS

The apparatus is operable to deliver metered quantities of two different fluid components. It includes: a fixed support frame (10); a plunger pump (12) for the metered delivery of each individual component, each pump (12) having a body (20) housed on the support frame (10) with the plunger shaft (22) protruding therefrom; a plate (50) with an actuator member (54) operable to impart a reciprocating movement; and means for enabling the movable plate (50) to be connected selectively to the distal end of each plunger (22), in such a way that it is possible to select which pumps (12) are operated. It is preferable if each pump (12) is selectively releasable from the frame (10) and the movable plate (50), thereby constituting a modular unit which is interchangeable with another pump (12).
