<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncture apparatus which reduces a pain and annoyance when punctured, and can be produced with excellent maneuverability at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The puncture apparatus X is constituted to pierce a subject part with a puncture element 11 by moving a first moving body 32 which holds the puncture element 11 from a waiting position to a puncturing position in a puncturing direction N1. The puncture apparatus X further includes a second moving body 31 which is connected to the first moving body 32 to engage with the movement of the same and controls the movement of the first moving body 32, and a shock absorbing means 23A to absorb a shock which is generated when the first and second moving bodies 31 and 32 are halted moving during a puncturing action.
