PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion trap mass spectrometer capable of easily setting parameter values. SOLUTION: In the ion trap mass spectrometer, a display part has a parameter setting screen for displaying and setting at least a main RF voltage applied to a ring electrode, and an auxiliary RF voltage applied to an end cap in a graph format along a time axis, and a stable area display screen for displaying a stable area of Mathieu indicated by two axes represented by a<SB>z</SB>=-8eU/mr<SB>0</SB><SP>2</SP>Ω<SP>2</SP>, and q<SB>z</SB>=-4eV/mr<SB>0</SB><SP>2</SP>Ω<SP>2</SP>. A control part calculates resonance ions from the set value of the main RF voltage and the auxiliary RF voltage in the parameter setting screen for a period for performing mass spectrometry, and overlays a segment representing calculated resonance ions on the stable area display screen.
