摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool using an electrolytic action and a manufacturing method thereof, having high machining precision and good machining efficiency, by insulating the cutting edge of the cutting tool using the electrolytic action and an electrode, and by providing a new combination structure of the cutting edge and the electrode. SOLUTION: In the cutting tool using the electrolytic action for cutting work by rotating, the cutting edge with an insulation property and the electrode with conductivity are integrally provided. A cutting discharging groove with the insulation property is interposed between the cutting edge with the insulation property and the electrode with conductivity. In the manufacturing method, the cutting tool having the cutting edge cutting the work by rotating is formed from conductive material. The whole of the cutting tool made from the conductive material is coated with insulation material, and the coating material is removed by laser beam machining or mechanical machining to from an electrode part.
