PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard device which can be made thin and light-weighted, wherein the rigidity of a base plate for supporting a plurality of key switches can be improved. SOLUTION: This keyboard device is provided with a plurality of key switches 4 and a base plate 1 constituted of metal where those plurality of key switches 4 are arrayed on the surface side. In the base plate 1, a rib 1e with predetermined height is formed between the adjacent key switches 4 in the arraying direction of the key switches 4, so that it is possible to improve the rigidity of the base plate 1.
