INTERNET SEARCH ENGINE SYSTEM, SERVER, TERMINAL DEVICE, AND INTERNET SEARCH METHOD USED THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Internet search engine system that provides user-friendliness by obtaining information to a terminal from a nearby Web site without requiring the input of the basic position information of a GPS or the like. SOLUTION: A mobile terminal 1 sends keyword information and terminal characteristic information from a terminal characteristic information holding part 14 to a wireless base station 3. The wireless base station 3 automatically recognizes and/or converts wireless base station ID information and the received terminal characteristic information into geographical position information, and sends this information along with the keyword information to a Web search engine 2. The Web search engine 2 uses a geographical position ID processor 22 to convert the received geographical position information into geographical position information and uses a search processor 23 to search a database 24 according to the keyword information and the geographical information to output Web sites which match the keyword information, in increasing order of their geographical distances to the mobile terminal 1.
