PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner in which a nonlinear error which is caused when light beams emitted from a plurality of light sources are made incident on a polygon mirror and the shift of focal point due to the temperature change are corrected, and an optical performance is maintained. SOLUTION: The optical scanner is provided with: at least one of light sources 101a, 101b; a polygon mirror 108 which reflects and deflects at least a light beam emitted from one of the light sources 101a, 101b; a focusing system which is disposed between the polygon mirror 108 and a photoreceptor drum 120 and focuses respective light beams deflected with the polygon mirror 108 onto a plurality of faces on the photoreceptor drum; and an incident optical system which is disposed between the light sources 101a and 101b and the polygon mirror 108, forms an infinite optical system in a main scanning direction and a finite optical system in a subscanning direction.
