PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front and back reversing device capable of surely reversing a paper sheet. SOLUTION: With cooperation of a tapping roller 49 tapping an end part of the paper sheet 2 in one direction from a side of a delivering means 9 to a side of a feeding means 10 and projections 50a, 50b positioned on both sides of the tapping roller 49, stiffness can be forcibly generated on the paper sheet 2 passed through the projections 50a, 50b, and the paper sheet 2 can be surely led to reversing rollers 21, 22 to be surely reversed. As the projections 50a, 50b are provided on a carry guide plate 3a extended in an inlet side of a reversing path S in the side of the delivering means 9 to face the tapping roller 49, the paper sheet 2 can be surely reversed with an extremely simple constitution. Further, lateral dislocation of the paper sheet 2 can be restrained with the tapping roller 49 and the projections 50a, 50b positioned on the both sides of the tapping roller 49, and the paper sheet 2 can be accurately transferred from a main carrying path P to the reversing path S.
