PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container system capable of being mounted between different transportation means with different limitations in width. SOLUTION: The container system capable of being mounted on one transportation means with the widthωand the other transportation means with the width W longer than the widthωincludes a base plate with the width in which the widthωis a maximum limit thereof, and a first container to be rotatably fitted to the base plate on the vertical axis passing through the center of the base plate. The first container is a parallelopiped body comprising a top part surface, a bottom part surface, a pair of one side surfaces facing each other and a pair of the other side surfaces facing each other. The width of the pair of one side surfaces of the first container is the same as the widthω, and the width of the pair of the other side surfaces of the first container is the same as the width W.
