PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe of every kind for dental optical diagnostic equipment having a simple structure, small size and high operability. SOLUTION: The probe for the dental optical diagnostic equipment is used for acquiring the optical tomographic image of a tooth part and an acquiring constitution for a diagnostic signal is the optical type one or bulk type one of every kind connected to a manual or articulated arm end and controlled in posture at its contact end with the tooth part. A transmitting constitution for the diagnostic signal is a wireless type one, one equipped with a linear polarizing means, one having guide light for visual observation at the time of contact, one based on a cylindrical shape or one having a pistol shape.
