PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely judge the replacement timing for a periodical replacement part, and notify a user of the timing, to eliminate the necessity for the management for the replacement timing or a planned replacement of the periodical replacement part, and to eliminate the troublesome work in a rice cooker having a function for counting the number of times for rice cooking. SOLUTION: A pot 23 which is a rice cooking container is heated by a heating means 24, and an input current is controlled by a controlling means 27. This rice cooker is equipped with a micro-computer 28, and rice cooking is started by an operating means 30 equipped with a rice cooking starting switch 29. The number of times for rice cooking is counted by a counting means 35. The rice cooker has a function for notifying the user of the fact by a notifying means 34 which makes the user recognize the working state when the number of times for rice cooking counted by the counting means 35 has exceeded a preset counting threshold value.
