INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD USING NUCLEIC ACID MOLECULES

An information processing method using nucleic acid molecules capable of acting autonomously and a molecule computer for calculation by the method are disclosed. The method is used for calculation using a function which receives an argument by a chemical reaction of a molecule and returns a return value. The method is characterized in that (a) a first coded nucleic acid defined in relation to a first decomposable single-strand nucleic acid is inputted as an argument, (b) calculation using a function defined in relation to a chemical reaction of a nucleic acid for calculation is carried out according to the argument, and (c) a second coded nucleic acid defined in relation to a second single-strand nucleic acid is obtained as a return value. The molecule computer is designed according to this method.
