Sheet processing machine, especially a printer, has at least two parts that are driven independently of each other. Their transport rollers (1, 2) are coupled using a roller train (1a, 1b, 2a), whereby at least one transport roller (1) can be uncoupled from the train. The uncoupled roller can be moved into a collision free position relative to its adjoining rollers (2). The adjoining rollers can be driven directly or indirectly, while the roller that can be uncoupled is an eccentric turning drum.
