In a mobile communication device (1), when an enquiry packet is transmitted from another mobile communication device (1) to enquire whether to accept subscription to an ad hoc network and is transferred to a work area (13), a transmission/reception control section (12) judges whether a reject flag set in a storage device (6) is 1 or not. If the reject flag is 1, the transmission/reception control section (12) creates a first response for rejecting subscription to the ad hoc network and transmits it via a transmission/reception section (14) to the other mobile communication device (1) which has transmitted the enquiry packet.
