A folding portable projection screen is made of fabric or foil and is fitted with a tensioning system on the rear. Flexible tensioning stays (6, 7) are set into corner pockets (2) on the rear of the screen and are additionally set through loops (4) applied to the rear of the screen in selected sites to stretch the screen without creasing. The additional loops are flexible and each stay connects two corner pockets.
