MICROORGANISM FOR PRODUCTION AND ACCUMULATION OF POLYHYDROXYALKANOATE WITHIN CELL

PURPOSE: A microorganism for production of polyhydroxyalkanoate is provided, which microorganism produces and accumulates polyhydroxyalkanoate within the cell, so that high purity polyhydroxyalkanoate can be effectively produced. CONSTITUTION: The microorganism, Pseudomonas putida P91(FERMBP-7373), for production of polyhydroxyalkanoate is provided, wherein the polyhydroxyalkanoate produced has a monomer unit composition represented by formula (1) of AmB(1-m), wherein A is represented by formula (2); B is at least one selected from monomer units represented by formula (3) or (4); m has a value of 0.01 or larger and smaller than 1; n has a value of 0 to 10; k has a value of 3 or 5; R is at least one group selected from groups represented by formulas (5) to (7); R1 is a group selected from a hydrogen atom (H), halogen atoms, -CN, -NO2, -CF3, -C2F5 and -C3F7; q is an integer of 1 to 8; R2 is a group selected from a hydrogen atom (H), halogen atoms, -CN, -NO2, -CF3, -C2F5 and -C3F7; r is an integer of 1 to 8; R3 is a group selected from a hydrogen atom (H), halogen atoms, -CN, -NO2, -CF3, -C2F5 and -C3F7; and s is an integer of 1 to 8.
