摘要

PURPOSE: A controller in a pointing device for an operation panel is provided to secure the safe system operation by equipping with a self diagnosis function and automatically compensating generated errors in a transmitting path with a preset compensation value. CONSTITUTION: A key input unit(1) sets a parameter for an operation of a pointing device and contains keys for setting and selecting functions. A storing unit(4) stores an input compensation value. A microcomputer(5) generates display data by compensating a measured physical value as the input compensation value in the storing unit when the input compensation function key is inputted from the key input unit. Thereby, the exact measured data is offered and necessary internal units to display the measured data are diagnosed. Therefore, the maintenance is performed conveniently and the problems caused by the display of wrong data are solved.
