<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply adjust printing irregularities even when there are a plurality of dot sizes. <P>SOLUTION: A printing apparatus (printer 22 and unillustrated computer) capable of forming N kinds of dots of different sizes to a one-pixel region by selectively discharging N (N≥2) kinds of ink droplets of different ink quantities onto a printing medium has a pattern printing means for printing correction (printer driver program 130) which prints a pattern for printing correction that is composed of a plurality of patterns each having a different dot recording ratio per unit area, with the use of the same one kind of ink for at least one kind of the N kinds of ink droplets; and a dot recording ratio determining means (recording ratio table 135) which determines a relationship between a tone value and the dot recording ratio for each of the N kinds of ink droplets on the basis of the pattern for printing correction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
