<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer receptive sheet of high sensitivity and high image quality at a low cost which is suitable for a dye heat transfer printer, good in smoothness of a receptive layer surface, high in printing density and excellent in image uniformity. <P>SOLUTION: In the heat transfer receptive sheet wherein an intermediate layer containing a hollow particle and an image receptive layer are successively formed, the intermediate layer comprises a first intermediate layer of a lower layer and a second intermediate layer of an upper layer, and an average particle contained in the first intermediate layer and an average particle diameter L<SB>2</SB>(μm) of the hollow particle contained in the second intermediate layer simultaneously satisfy the following relational formulas (1)-(3). Wherein, the relational formula (1) is L<SB>1</SB>=2-35μm, the relational formula (2) is L<SB>2</SB>=0.4-5μm and the relational formula (3) is L<SB>1</SB>>L<SB>2</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
