摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method which prevents generation of image defects even when printing is continuously carried out. <P>SOLUTION: Tmax is the upper limit temperature above which a recording head 10 does not cause an image defect. An estimated temperature T3 (chain dashed line) of the recording head 10 at a time point when printing of a printing region n3 is finished is obtained from a temperature T2 after printing of a printing region n2 is finished, and contents of printing data of the printing region n3 to be printed next. If T3 exceeds the upper limit temperature Tmax, printing of the printing region n3 is carried out with the use of only even-numbered nozzles by a drive frequency of f1 and a carriage speed of v1 (n3a). Next, printing is carried out overlapping on the same printing region n3a as that of the first half passage with the use of only odd-numbered nozzles 22 and without carrying out paper feeding (printing region n3b).
