<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception quality measuring instrument capable of estimating reception quality without delay when the line quality of digital mobile communication is measured. <P>SOLUTION: In addition to a 1st bit error rate estimation part 102 which performs de-interleaving processing and decoding processing for a signal detected by a detection part 101, the reception quality measuring instrument which measures reception quality through bit error rate estimation is provided with a 2nd bit error rate estimation part 103 which estimates a bit error rate from a CNR estimation result of, for example, a symbol section N without performing the de-interleaving processing nor decoding processing carried out by the 1st bit error rate estimation part 102; if 1st bit error rate estimation processing is not completed in a section wherein reception quality is measured, a bit error rate estimation result of the 2nd bit error rate estimation processing part 103 which is already completed is used for the remaining section wherein the 1st bit error rate estimation processing is not completed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
