<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and rapidly detect oil leakage. <P>SOLUTION: This hydraulic equipment supplies oil in a tank 1 to a hydraulic cylinder 5 by a pump 3 through a controllable valve 11. The level of the oil in the tank 1 is measured with an oil level gauge 13. Data on the hydraulic cylinder 5 is stored in a storage means 6a. Based on the operating state of the valve 11 and the operating position of and data on the hydraulic cylinder 5 measured by the operating position measuring means 5a, the varied amount of the oil in the hydraulic cylinder 5 is calculated by a first calculation means 6b. Based on the oil amount calculated by the first calculation means, the level of the oil in the tank 1 is calculated by a second calculation means 6c. The calculated oil level is compared with the oil level measured with the oil level gauge 13 by a comparison means 6d. When the results of the comparison come out of a specified range, a determination means 6e determines that the equipment is faulty. Thus, oil leakage at any position between the tank and the hydraulic cylinder can be rapidly detected without being affected by the number of hydraulic cylinders. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
