<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic cured material that has high strength using paper manufacture sludge as a raw material and is capable of being manufactured in a short time without using heating energy. <P>SOLUTION: The inorganic cured material is obtained by having an excipient containing 3-100 pts.wt.of water subjected to a carbonation treatment, based on 100 pts.wt.of the dry solid content of a mixture comprising 100 pts.wt.of the paper manufacture sludge and 20-230 pts.wt.of calcium silicate (preferably, calcium silicate contains wallastonite of which the aspect ratio is 10-25). The process for manufacturing the inorganic cured material is also provided including steps of incorporating water into the mixture of the paper manufacture sludge and calcium silicate to adjust the water content so that it becomes 3-100 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt.of the dry solid content, molding the resultant mixture to form a molded excipient and subjecting the same to a carbonation treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
