PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera which can previously know the remaining capacity of a battery in a temperature environment different from a present temperature environment having the digital camera, such as, for example, a cold temperature environment. SOLUTION: The digital camera includes a battery pack having a chargeable secondary battery, a measuring unit for measuring the remaining capacity of the secondary battery, and a storage unit for storing the remaining capacity of the battery and operates by power supply from the battery pack. The measuring unit measures the temperature of the battery pack. The digital camera includes a display unit, and a controller.
