PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor pump device for a vehicle capable of completely preventing water infiltration from a ventilation hole and easily realizing the structure. SOLUTION: A ventilation hole 22a which communicates an outer portion and an inner portion of a motor housing 5 is provided at the motor housing 5 constituting the motor pump device 2. A ventilation box 31 which is directly connected to the ventilation hole 22a has a communicating hole 32a, a connecting pipe 33, and an air reserve chamber 34a. The communicating hole 32a opens at a lower portion in a vertical direction in an assembly condition to be communicated with the outer portion of the ventilation box 31. The connecting pipe 33 is connected with the ventilation hole 22a at an upper portion in the vertical direction than the communicating hole 32a. The air reserve chamber 34a for communicating the communicating hole 32a and the connecting pipe 33 has a capacity larger than the that of the air taken in/out by ventilation of the motor housing 5.
