PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processor in which PLL performance is improved by correcting nonlinear distortion of a reproduced signal to improve an equalization characteristic, following the improvement of the PLL performance and the error rate of the entire signal processing system in the end. SOLUTION: A secondary adaptive equalization filter 16 is connected parallel to a primary adaptive equalization filter 15 in order to correct nonlinear distortion belonging to an analog equalization signal x(k). Filtered outputs of the primary adaptive equalization filter 15 and the secondary adaptive equalization filter 16 are added by an adder 17 and the added output is supplied as an equalized output y(k) to a phase interpolation filter 18. The phase interpolation filter 18 interpolates a phase on the basis of a filtered output of the primary adaptive equalization filter 15 and a filtered output of the secondary adaptive equalization filter 16.
