PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a more sensitive radiation image conversion panel. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the radiation image conversion panel which includes a process for forming a phosphor layer through the evaporation onto a substrate a substance generated by heating an evaporation source containing stimulable phosphors of an alkaline metal halide base activated by europium with a specific basic composition formula or a material for them, an evaporation source containing at least the phosphors or a mixture of the material for them and that containing an ingredient of a europium activator are prepared separately.
