METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DRYING SAWDUST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and uniformly dry the whole of sawdust even when the sawdust contains a great amount of moisture. SOLUTION: This sawdust dryer 1 is constituted of a drying vessel 2 for drying the sawdust by air-flow while storing the drying objective sawdust and circulating it, and a sawdust lift feeder/ discharger 3 for feeding or discharging the objective sawdust into/from the drying vessel 2. The drying vessel 2 is provided with a sawdust reservoir part 6 for reserving a proper amount of sawdust drying-finished in the last. A sawdust circulation path passed through the feeder/discharger 3 from an inside of the drying vessel 2 is constituted of the drying vessel 2 and the feeder/discharger 3. A moisture measuring means 26 is provided in the sawdust circulation path to collect the drying-objective sawdust and to measure its moisture. A suction exhaust fan 21 for suction-discharging gas from an upper space of a sawdust storage part 4 is provided in a top face of the drying vessel 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
