PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner provided with a louver having ion generating function. SOLUTION: An indoor machine 1 comprises a transverse louver group 10 consisting of a plurality of transverse louvers R1-R3 provided in an outlet port 4, and a high-voltage power source 15 provided on the outside of a blowing passage C within a casing 2. An ion generating electrode body 210 which generates positive and negative ions by discharge is buried in the blade part 23 of at least one transverse louver R1 of the transverse louver group 10 so that its ion generating surface is opposed to the outside.
