PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and easy-to-operate method for increasing the quantum efficiency of light transition of fullerens. SOLUTION: The method for increasing the quantum efficiency of light transition of fullerens comprises imposing an anisotropic strain on the fullerene skeleton by a physical means.
