PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension adjusting mechanism of a conveyer belt, easily managing the fitting tension of a belt whether a straight line conveyer or a curve conveyer. SOLUTION: This invention provides a tension adjusting mechanism of a conveyer belt 8 fitted to one end side of a conveyer frame 90. The mechanism includes: right and left base plates 1 disposed on one end side of the conveyer frame 9; a fitting means 2 fitted to cause each base plate 1 to be movable and immovable in the direction of stretching the belt; a lever 3 rotatably fitted to each base plate 1 and holding an end roller 7 on one end side of the conveyer frame 9 at one end side; and a torque applying means 5 for applying torque corresponding to the tension to be applied to the conveyer belt 8 through a tension spring 4 to the other end sides of the right and left levers 3 and keeping that state.
