Cellular phone (18) is used for making telephone calls and in this the subscriber's head is directly exposed to electromagnetic radiation of cellular phone (18). To lessen the influence of electromagnetic radiation cellular phone (18) by a special optical cable (1) accomplishes a both-way optical connection with handsfree device (19) during the telephone conversation. Handsfree device (19) is in the immediate proximity of the subscriber's head while cellular phone (18) is at safety distance. Handsfree device has its own power supply (16).
