<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a library control system that can improve the return rate of books and the work efficiency by controlling the library by recording the information on the RFID tags attached to each book and having the books returned through the mail box or the post office. <P>SOLUTION: This library control system is built up by using a tag 2 attached to each book 1 for lent, a post reader/writer (R/W) 4 provided in the mailbox 3 arranged at each base to write the information on the IC tag 2 stuck to the book 1 for lent and read it, a control memory 5 to record only the necessary control information from the information on the IC tag 2, a reader/writer 7 for recovery not shown in the Fig. carried in the collection and delivery vehicle 6, to read the information in the control memory 5 and record it, and a book reader/writer 9 (not shown in the Fig.) provided in the library 8 to read the data on the IC tag 2 and write the necessary information on it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
