PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner having excellent development durability, fixing property and offset resistance in a high-speed machine, having excellent storage property at high temperature and giving favorable image density. SOLUTION: The toner contains at least a binder resin and wax. The binder resin contains at least a vinyl resin containing a partial structure expressed by formula (A) in the molecule and has 1 to 30 mass% of a THF insoluble content. In the molecular weight distribution measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC), the toner shows only one maximum value in the range from 8,000 to 30,000 of the molecular weight, and the Z-average molecular weight (Mz) ranges from 1,000,000 to 10,000,000. The wax has 5 to 150 mgKOH/g hydroxyl value (Hv) and 1 to 50 mgKOH/g ester value (Ev) satisfying Hv>Ev. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
