PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine device for providing motive power, generating the motive power, and generating electric power, without using fossil fuel energy from an external part. SOLUTION: A ferromagnetic shape memory alloy material 6 suddenly extends by a magnetic field, and pushes a fin of a fixed shaft 2. A rotary drum 4 rotates by receiving reaction at this time. Then, the shape memory alloy material suddenly contracts when coming outside the magnetic field, and does not collide with the next fin. The rotary drum can be continuously rotated by repeating this operation. This engine is also provided with a cooling system for preventing a temperature rise in a shape memory alloy, and the position changing function of a permanent magnet 3 for controlling a rotating speed.
