PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electric tweezers having a holding member having an enlarging function of translation displacement amount and capable of performing a prescribed opening/closing of the holding member with simple configuration. SOLUTION: This tweezers are provided with the holding member 13 having one end part connected and fixed to a case part 60 and the other end part for enlarging opening/closing amount at a distal end based on reciprocating translation displacement amount and opening and holding an object, a switch 57 for rotating and stopping a motor 52, and a converting mechanism 30 stored in the case part 60 and connected to a shaft 52a to convert rotation of one direction of the motor 52 into translation displacement amount of a prescribed reciprocating direction in relation to the other end part of the holding member 13. In the converting mechanism 30, a rotating cam 33 connected to the shaft 52a and constituted of first plane 33s and a first oblique surface 33i, and a second cam profile 35r which converts the rotation of the cam 33 into the translation displacement amount, is constituted of three stepped cylindrical parts 35a, 35b and 35c, has a screw hole 35e formed at an end in the cylindrical part 35c and is in contact with a first cam profile 33r at one end face are formed.
