PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose an UPnP device to a WAN host. SOLUTION: This LAN interconnecting apparatus 105 for connecting an UPnP device 103 capable of using the HTTP of a LAN 101 with a WAN host 104 at the WAN 102 side has an UPnP processor 204 for generating a control URL for an HTTP request, and a public URL required for the HTTP request usable on the WAN side and an UPnP device information database 205 for storing the generated control and public URLs for the UPnP device. It comprises a transfer packet processor 203 which adds NAT processing to the HTTP request when an URL from the WAN side agrees with the public URL, takes the public URL for a control URL, transfers the HTTP request with the control URL to the UPnP device, executes the NAT processing for an HTTP answer to HTML data from the UPnP device, and transfers the data to the WAN host.
