PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus 9 provided with a phase diversity reception detection circuit employing a simple configuration capable of attaining simultaneous transmission / reception without the need for using a circulator. SOLUTION: The communication apparatus uses one antenna 1 to simultaneously transceive a transmission signal and a received signal with the same frequency band, includes a first distribution means (hybrid coupler 2a) for distributing the transmission signal into first and second transmission signals, gives the first transmission signal to an antenna circuit, inputs the received signal from the antenna 1 outputted through the first distribution means to a received signal synchronous detection circuit, and uses the second transmission signal for a local oscillation signal of the received signal synchronous detection circuit to configure the reception detection circuit.
