摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic sectional flow rate/flow velocity measurement device and method, capable of the reduction of the number of sensors and capable of efficiently measuring a flow field of a conduit cross section. SOLUTION: The sensor 3 can detect a velocity distribution on a straight line. A movement mechanism 5 sets the sensor 3 at a prescribed angle to a reference line, and can set it even in the height direction. A signal processing controller 7 outputs a control signal to the movement mechanism 5, and finds coordinates of a measurement line. A velocity distribution meter 6 allows input of a signal from the sensor 3 to calculate the velocity distribution. An arithmetic circuit 8 allows input of a signal from the velocity distribution meter 6 and allows input of the measured coordinates from the signal processing controller 7, an image processor 9 processes data, and a display device 10 displays statistics.
