PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating plant with a compression mechanism 2D whose operation is stopped for a preset time into thermo-off operation when low pressure in a refrigerant circuit 1E is lower than a preset value, having stabilized operation by preventing the repeated start/stop of the compression mechanism 2D after restarted (thermo-on operation). SOLUTION: In the state that low pressure is higher during stopping the operation of the compression mechanism 2D and the operation of the compression mechanism 2D is restarted, when the low pressure is lower in a reference time from restarting operation, the operation of the compression mechanism 2D is stopped again and a second standby time is set longer than a standby time during previously stopping the operation.
