PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel-like pest-controlling composition usable for a long time as a heat transpiration agent. SOLUTION: The gel-like pest-controlling composition is such that a compound of formula(1)( wherein, R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each H, methyl or a chlorine atom; and R<SP>3</SP>is H, F, methyl, methoxy or methoxymethyl ) is included in a gel made from a thermoplastic elastomer and a hydrocarbon-based solvent.
