PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making tea, which is similar to sun tea in Western Europe that shows health effects by polyphenol, in a living environment in Japan. SOLUTION: A few ultraviolet lamps are placed in a cylinder with mirror finished inner surfaces, and a clear bottle is placed in the center. The clear bottle is made to be removable, and water and a tea bag is put in the bottle. The bottle is irradiated with ultraviolet light by which the tea is brewed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
