The present invention relates to growth regulators of a plant and processes for regulating the same, and more particularly, relates to a technique to regulate the growth of a plant using a substance which is friendly to the global environment. A growth regulator of a plant comprising NaHCO3 and/or KHCO3 as a principal active ingredient is provided.
