The general concept of the invention relates to a method involving a loudspeaker housing positioned in a central position in a vehicle, i.e. on the longitudinal axis thereof, and built into one of the so-called double-DIN locations of the vehicle sound system. The figure shows a non-restrictive example of such a centrally positioned loudspeaker housing with a horizontal row of loudspeakers, namely medium (1), bass (3) and tweeter (2) speakers, in a DIN format arrangement (4). A so-called centrally positioned loudspeaker housing can thus be conveniently and affordably fitted, thereby providing high quality audio sound that substantially recreates a realistic three-dimensional sound image. |
